Free is a magic word. There's nothing that rings in people's ears more than the word free. Let's face it, everybody loves freebies. Who wouldn't want to get something for nothing? This adds an extra incentive for people to pay interest to whatever deal your business is offering, if they know that they'll be getting something in return for their efforts.
