Camera lenses- top 4 things to consider when buying
Lenses are very important component of a camera and that’s why having the right camera lenses is very necessary. But selecting the right one is not that easy. Nowadays many types of camera lenses are available in the market and people have difficulty in deciding which one to buy. Camera lenses are categorized as – fixed focal length, rectangle and fixed zoom.
New camera lenses are very costly and every one can not afford them. The solution however lies in used camera lenses. Used camera lenses are less costly as compared to new camera lenses and one can afford these lenses easily. When one goes for camera-lens shopping, then he or she has to consider various factors.
1. Focal length - It is the distance between the real element and the focal lane of the camera lenses .It is measured in millimeters. It determines how one can view the elements. If the focal length is less, then the viewing point becomes wider. So one should buy that camera
lens in which he can see all the elements clearly.
2. Aperture – Aperture controls the amount of light which is moving to the image sensors through the camera lenses. If one wants to view every thing intelligibly, then he or she has to set the aperture value. If aperture value is less, then more light can enter into the camera lenses.
3. Image stabilization – When one see blurry images; then it means shutter speed is slow. If one wants to stop this thing, then he has to set the image stabilization. If a camera has better image stabilization, then it can take good quality pictures in low light conditions.
4. Prime camera lenses – In this type of lens, the value of focal length ranges from 35 mm to 80 mm. If a camera has prime lenses, then it can take sharp pictures.
One should consider all these points before going for a new or used camera lenses. It is also advisable that one should shop around and research as much as possible before making a final buying decision.
